Parking Instructions
Due to the on-site THISTLE registration procedure, THISTLE students are unable to apply for a Montclair State University parking permit online. THISTLE students may apply for a general lot parking decal in person at the Parking Services Office located on the first floor of the RED HAWK parking deck. (973) 655-5223. You must be verified by the THISTLE office assistant FIRST in order to obtain a parking permit. Call the office at 973-655-5197. Permits will only be valid for the semester in which they were obtained. Students must park in general student lots only. The THISTLE office is not responsible for any ticketing due to parking.
There are also metered parking lots, shuttle buses, a train station, as well as on-street parking for Clifton pass holders.
