Things to remember about taking summer courses:
· Some of you MUST take courses this summer to make up for being on leave or only taking one course in the Fall and/or the Spring.
· Summer courses are offered only at the MSU campus.
· Summer courses at MSU are offered in various sessions that run for different lengths of time. The shorter the length of the session, the longer the class hours per day. Most classes meet four days a week: Monday through Thursday.
· Project THISTLE will only pay for you to take courses that count toward the M.Ed., Concentration in Critical Thinking, which are those listed below.
Summer Registration Instructions:
1. Pick your class(es) from the table below.
2. Summer registration is handled by the student. Log on to your WESS account and register for classes on-line. If you have difficulty you may call IT services at 973-655-7971. If there is a problem concerning your registration status please contact the THISTLE office at 973-655-5197.
3. Classes fill quickly. If the course you wish to take is full you must contact the Department Chair 973-655-7041 and ask for a permit to take the course. The THISTLE office cannot give you this permission.
3. After your registration is complete you must inform the THISTLE office of your registration. IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT THE THISTLE OFFICE - YOU WILL BE BILLED.
4. The University will mail you confirmation of your registration.
