Discussion boards/e-mail lists for majors
and alumni. Want to
discuss topics in philosophy and religious studies with fellow students/alumni and with faculty?
Two e-mail discussion boards have been set up for that purpose -- one
for current students, another for alumni (although all students and
alumni are free to participate in either list). Click on the links below to go to
the Web interfaces of those lists.

Current Department Events
P/R CLUB
During the Fall 2008 Semester the Philosophy and
Religion Club will regularly meet in DI-430 at 4:00 p.m. on
Thursdays. Student majors or guest faculty will facilitate
the discussion with brief presentations.
Everyone, majors and non-majors alike, is invited. Stop by,
join us for some thoughtful conversation, tasty snacks, and
general good company. The next meeting, on September 4th at
4:00 p.m., will be devoted to:
"A Welcome Back and Planning Session"
Our new Executive Board will welcome everyone
and schedule meetings. The goal this year is to re-new
our Class III organization status with the SGA and to apply for
funding for guest speakers and travel.
Dr. Kirk McDermid delivered the SPRING BRANTL LECTURE:
"The Physics
of Miracles"
Department Research Colloquium: Generally
meets on Friday mornings. Schedule to be announced.
