packages the Lab offers, followed by presentations by MSU faculty member Susana Juniu
and the Center for Pedagogy's Susan Amirian.

Date: Monday, September 10th

Time: 4:00-6:00

Place: College Hall, Room 123

Air-conditioning: Yes!

This event marks the rebirth of Room 123.  Once a space devoted to software training, 123 is
now a dedicated faculty development laboratory. The lab, dubbed
"The Room of Possibilities," features digital scanners, digital still cameras, a digital video
camera, and the latest web page authoring, graphics production,
and multimedia software.

Faculty members can borrow digital cameras and laptop computers and check out software to
install on their own computers. 123 offers the services of two full-time technology consultants
who can help faculty effectively integrate technology into their classrooms.

The event is sponsored by Technology Training and Integration, a unit of Information Technology.
As part of an ongoing series of events called "@123," it is designed to stimulate discussion around
the integration of technology into the classroom while fostering a community of users.

As the voice of Information Technology, our goal is to give our readers current information about what's happening in training, the monthly training schedule, IT announcements, spotlight on technology usage and other computer/ technology related events.

We look forward to your feedback and welcome any articles you may want included in future issues.
