New faces In IT

Faculty Member Creates On-Line Content for 30 Adjunct Instructors

Christine Pict. Dr. Lemesianou, an Assistant Professor in the Speech Communication department, utilizes technology in an innovative way. Recently, at an informal presentation in "The Room of Possibilities" (College Hall 123) Christine Lemesianou discussed the possibilities and challenges of working with new technologies. She highlighted the use of a combination of PowerPoint, FrontPage, and WebCT to create and distribute course content to 30 adjuncts. In undertaking this project, the department aims to make the workload of the adjuncts easier, allow them to access the same high-quality materials on-line and ensure some consistency of the content from instructor to instructor.
