Course Description
This
course is an introduction to the utilization of Microsoft FrontPage 2000 for
developing web materials in training and education. Students will also use graphics tools to enhance materials on
the Web. Classes will consist of a combination of lectures, videotapes, open
labs, and discussion.
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
1.
develop
web materials using Microsoft FrontPage 2000.
2.
design
web pages with appropriate methods.
3.
publish
web pages and transfer files to web sites.
4.
utilize
graphics tools to enhance materials.
Textbook
Getting Started with Microsoft FrontPage by Microsoft (comes
with Microsoft FrontPage 2000 program)
Requirement
Students need web sites to store their web pages. To establish your web
sites, please contact professor Shunfa Li at (973)655-5458 for detail. Please bring
three 3.5" floppy disks to the class.
Grading
Grades are based on the successful completion of course assignments,
web pages, and on the presentation of web pages.
Participation
Attendance at all classes is expected. Students are responsible for
obtaining/covering materials that they may have missed during their absence.
