Developing Materials for Computer Technology in Training and Education

Course Description

This course is an introduction to the utilization of Microsoft Office 97 for developing materials in training and education. Students will also use software to develop materials for web-based presentation. Classes will consist of a combination of lectures, video tapes, open labs, and discussion.

Requirement

Students need web sites to store their web pages. To establish your web sites, please contact Prof. Shunfa Li at (973)655-5458 for detail. Please bring three 3.5" floppy disks to the class.

Grading

Grades are based on the successful completion of course assignments, on knowledge demonstrated on the examination, and on the presentation of web pages.

Participation

Attendance at all classes is expected. Students are responsible for obtaining/covering materials that they may have missed during their absence.
