will conduct an

Introductory Philosophy for Children Workshop

Friday, January 13, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00. p.m.

in Room 2160 of the new University Hall



 
  • This workshop is designed for school teachers, graduate students and college/university professors interested in educational philosophy and classroom inquiry.
     

  • The workshop fee is $175, which includes:

٭ Workshop fee
٭  Lunch & morning coffee/tea
٭  One IAPC Curriculum Set (novel & manual)
٭  Philosophy in the Classroom
٭  Issue of Thinking: The Journal of Philosophy for Children

  • The workshop is The workshop will provide 6 Professional Development Hours.

  • Parking is free on Valley Road and Upper Mountain Avenue, both of which intersect Normal Avenue.  Paid parking is available at the “Red Hawk Deck” and in metered parking spaces, both indicated on our campus map.

  • Please enter University Hall through the northeast entrance and sign in with security at the North Lobby Reception Desk.
