Philosophical Spirituality For Educators by Maya Levanon

Socrates called it the Examined Life, Aristotle referred to it as the Key to Happiness. In more modern terms, spiritual intelligence (SQ) is what the literature has described as the ability to address and solve questions of values and meaning, both important in order to conduct healthy, happy and creative lives. This course will attempt to help teachers to develop life skills through understanding and creating myths, symbols and rituals. The course will be conducted through philosophical dialogue, encouraging participants to learn how to reason and think critically.

and

Philosophy for Children by Maughn Gregory

This course is an introduction to Philosophy for Children (P4C), a world-wide movement engaging children in philosophical discourse. Participants will learn about the nature of philosophical inquiry, read philosophical stories, and dialogue about them as a philosophical community of inquiry. We will also discuss P4C learning objectives like critical and creative thinking and character development, as well as ways to evaluate such objectives.
