Grace
Reese was born in Kenbridge, Virginia, the fifth daughter of John
and Blanche Reese. She grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where she
graduated from Bloomfield High School. At an early age she accepted
Christ and joined the St. Paul Baptist Church of Montclair, where she was
baptized by Rev. A.O. Bell.
She was married to Jubridy "Butch" Miles, who predeceased her in 1988. To this
union two sons were
born: J. Gordon, who passed away in 1995, and Ronald. Grace was
employed by the Beckman Industries Corp. in Cedar Grove, New Jersey for many
years, retiring in 1988. Grace departed this life on Saturday, August
27, 1994 at the Reese family home in Montclair.
Grace is survived by one son: Ronald Miles; one daughter-in-law: Nancy Miles; three granddaughters: Loren Garofolo, Dena Mazza, and Ronnie Accardi; and two great-grandsons: Gian Miles and Ryder Accardi.
