Present at the meeting: Patty Kahn, Roger Salomon, Michael Heller, Prudence Jones, Christine Lemesianou

The committee discussed the following:

· Update from Patty Kahn on Wimba, Rave, and Lecture 123. New features of Wimba were discussed as well as the possibility of a demonstration session on campus. In order to keep the community informed on the various added features on Wimba (and other instructional tools), a Patty will try to create a blog for MSU faculty/administration/IT community.

· Update on Blackboard and plans are underway to move Bb to a locally hosted environment

· The committee approved the revised Evaluation Rubric for adding Building Blocks on BlackBoard.

· The next move is to consider Learning Objects and the pedagogical possibilities of using wikis and blogs. Patty Kahn will look into possible arrangements for a demonstration.

· Next meeting scheduled for April 23^rd, 2007.
